The best Tamales I've ever had. If you are ever on the west side, stop at The Tamale Place. You have to get there early, they close when they run out.

The 465 will be great when they finally get it done.

The first snow is always the prettiest. After that, not so much. Unless, of course the first snow is before Christmas, then snow is beautiful on Christmas Day. Hopefully, this year will bring a white Christmas to Indianapolis.
I actually didn’t have to change the picture to black and white. The sky was grey, the tree branches black and the snow, a beautiful layer of white.

Driving west on 21st Street from Speedway to Avon provides a showcase of the beauty of a fall day. There are two areas where the trees provide a canopy across the street. Further along, the railroad overpass turned out to be another picture perfect view of fall.

We have been deluged lately with rain; it seems like every day for the past 10 days has seen some rainfall. I don’t mind the rain, except the gray clouds make for some lousy pictures. Standing in the rain taking pictures isn’t good for my camera either. On Tuesday, after the rain, we had a spectacular sunset, which I captured to share with you. I couldn’t get a lighter foreground. I didn’t care though, the sunset showed up beautifully.
